The International Festival aims at bringing in a broader arena and promoting the Maiden Tower, which is one of the most ancient monuments of Azerbaijan.
The monument is a symbol of our capital located in the territory of Icheri Sheher which was included into World Heritage List of UNESCO, and is able to contribute to familiarization with ancient history and rich traditions of our nation, enrichment of worldwide cultural heritage and cross-cultural dialogue by serving as a piece of Azerbaijani architecture.
More than 20 well-known artists attended the project from several countries. They created works reflecting synthesis and mutual exchange of distinct culture and traditions by decorating small dummy of the tower with national style.
