On Sunday June 17th Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan hosted the Red Bull Showrun Baku, a breathtaking show put on by the 2010 and 2011 Formula One World Champions - Red Bull Racing.
About 45 000 spectators came to the temporary race course on Neftchilar Avenue in Baku city center to welcome the legend of Formula One David Coulthard and Red Bull Racing to Azerbaijan and experience the roar of the engines of RB7 - the car that helped the team to win the 2011 Formula One World Championship.

It was team’s first visit to Azerbaijan and they amazed the crowd from the first sight. David Coulthard, the legendary 13-time Grand Prix winner was showing off his driving skills and the performance of the car. He was making lots of smoke and wowing the crowd by burning plenty of donuts!
David Coulthard: “It was great to drive the car on the main avenue of Baku. I really did not know what to expect when I was coming to Azerbaijan and I was so surprised, that people gave us such a warm welcome! During the final hero lap I saw a little kid shouting my name, this moment made my day”.
Between runs of Formula One car, 3 times Ukrainian Drift Champion Aleksandr Grinchuk impressed the spectators by doing amazing drift tricks together with Georgian drifters on Legend Cars.
It was an unforgettable day for Baku audience who got the unique and lifetime chance to be a part of this event and fully experience the speed and live atmosphere of Formula One!
